Her compositions have been performed by such artists as Hilary Hahn, Miranda Cuckson, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Musiques Nouvelles, Percussion de Strassbourg, New Music Orchestra, Riot Ensemble, Wiener Solisten Chor, Polish Radio Orchestra, Orkest de ereprijs, Voix de Strass, Kalisz Philharmonic, Silesian Philharmonic, LutosAir Quintet.

Nikolet’s compositions have been performed in festivals such as MATA Festival in New York, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in UK, Seoul Computer Music Festival, Festival Internacional Compositores de Hoje in Brasil, La semaine du son in France, Next in Austria, Vocumenta in Austria, Tactus in Belgium, Frequency Festival in Chicago, the Young Composers Meeting in Holland, Musica Polonica Nova, Druskomanija in Lithuania, and venues such as IRCAM (salle Varèse), Palais du Rhin, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, CSO Concert Hall in Ankara, National Music Forum in Wroclaw, as well as broadcast on WQXR, WEFT, Accent 4, Polish Radio Programme 1, Polish Radio Programme 2, and many others.

She is co-author of Pianostasy for 21 pianos and symphonic orchestra performed by Kalisz Philharmonic. Her music was commissioned by ensembles and orchestras such as Kalisz Philharmonic (3 times), Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, The Festival of Premieres in Katowice, New Music Orchestra, Art Mintaka Festival, Riot Ensemble, Musiques Nouvelles, LutosAir Quintet, Les Pincees Musicales, Ensemble Écoute, Voix de Strass. Her music was released in albums of LutosAir Quintet, Edua Zadory, Alicja Molitorys, Alfredo Ovalles, Voix de Strass, Electronic Masters series, and the Chronicles of Warsaw Autumn.

Burzyńska’s music has been awarded in competitions i.a.: the 27 pieces: Hilary Hahn Encores prize, Tactus Young Composers Forum, the Sorodha Composition Competition, the Competition for the 90th anniversary of the III Silesian. She has been granted the Prime Minister Scholarship and the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship Scholarship. The albums with her music were nominated for the prestigious phonographic prizes. During her studies she learned from Mark Andre, Marcin Błażewicz, Stanisław Moryto and polished her skills with John Corigliano, Kaija Saariaho, Louis Andriessen, Jeroen D’hoe, Jung Hee Choi, Tadeusz Wielecki, Martijn Padding, Richard Ayres.
